Wireless Eye
Proximity Marketing
The computer and software capability built into Wireless Eye PLUS enables us to add in further features not possible in traditional CCTV systems.
Wireless Eye Proximity Marketing based onBluetooth is our first example. The concept is to provide effective low cost CCTV capability and by adding further Bluetooth software enable the CCTV to pay for itself by generating advertising revenue.
In the current economic climate there is, and will continue to be, pressure on budgets and available funding particularly for local councils. Imaginative innovative cost effective solutions are needed.
Such a solution is combining CCTV capability with other capabilities an example is - Bluetooth or proximity mobile marketing
The Wireless Eye Bluetooth camera is deployed in a town centre providing CCTV coverage. Within about a kilometre radius of the camera small notices invite people to turn on their mobile phones Bluetooth capability. The Solartel Camera automatically “pairs” with Bluetooth enabled phones and asks them if they want to receive promotional messages. If NO the camera automatically disconnects the Bluetooth connection.
If YES promotional messages are sent to the mobile phone in text sound or pictures. .
The Wireless Eye Proximity Marketing system is provided by Wireless Eye on a low cost monthly lease purchase rental and the monthly rental costs can be covered by the Proximity Marketing advertising revenues.
CCTV at no cost!
Carphone Warehouse recently predicted due to falling prices 65% of people in Britain will be using new smart phones with fast internet access by next year. Mobile phone connections in the UK and Europe totaled 2.86 million in the first quarter of 2010.
Today’s consumers have an increasingly short attention span. Consumer promotions based on proximity to a location, allow promoters either brands or businesses to ensure that they reach their target audience at a time and place that puts their offer into a direct and relevant context to that consumer’s current activity. Our partner Hypertag has proven success in raising sales and footfall with clients such as O2, T-Mobile and McArthur Glen.
For example, by downloading vouchers to passing shoppers in a high street, retailers can raise awareness of promotional offers and drive footfall directly into their stores, restaurants or businesses. Wireless Eye mobile security cameras are ideal for temporary or annual events like shows or rallies. By incorporating Hypertag technology into the Wireless Eye cameras consumers can be directed to the stalls or exhibitors at the show where special offers are available. It can also be used by local authorities to send public information broadcasts or traffic congestion information for visitors leaving a show.
Wireless Eye security cameras deployed at cathedrals, museums, art galleries, wildlife centres and other public attractions will use Hypertag technology to help create a highly enjoyable and educational experience for visitors through sponsored guides and visitor information downloaded directly to their mobile phones.
Once again advertising sponsorship can subsidise or pay the entire cost of the
CCTV.
Wireless Eye Proximity Marketing will be available in 2010 See also the ‘VIRTUAL’ CCTV CONTROL Product.
