What is
the benefit of Wireless Technology
Wireless Eye Limited build and supply new lower cost alternatives to traditional CCTV. Systems designed to make it simple to place a camera virtually anywhere. You can watch and record high definition images even in the most remote locations. The cameras can continuously monitor or be movement activated. No cabling, no mains power no image recorders, no disruptive civil engineering works, no waiting. The images can be sent to a CCTV control room, PC, Blackberry or mobile phone or to a web site where they can be viewed by thousands of people all over the world.

What is
Wireless Eye?
Wireless Eye is a consortium of partner companies with software and communication expertise, quality hardware assembly and testing expertise, mobile network package buying expertise. DNA marker production and analysis. We are not linked to any particular brand name so we can buy the latest and the best camera and component technology for our customers. We are pleased to work with existing CCTV technology suppliers and offer our products through them if necessary or supply direct.

What is
DNA marker liquid
DNA marker liquid is a clear harmless liquid which contains a unique individual fragment of DNA. This unique DNA fragment is coded and registered to a specific address or location. The presence of the DNA liquid is revealed under ultra violet light. Many Police Stations routinely screen suspects with ultra violet light. If DNA liquid is detected analysis of a minute sample will irrefutably connect the suspect to the original point where the DNA code is registered. Crime Scene Identification (CSI) Even if the suspect wears a mask to prevent identification on camera the DNA liquid can remain on clothes and skin for several weeks.

Who is using
Solartel?
The Solartel system was designed and built by Scisys UK Ltd, one of the leading European developers of innovative communications software solutions and is used by both the UK Highways Agency and the BBC. The system is now being made available through Wireless Eye.
What else can the
Solartel System do?
Wireless Eye can also interface with a web site and enable real time images of tourist sites or wildlife to be viewed by thousands of people all over the world. The BBC used the technology for Autumn Watch and BBC Spring Watch (4 million viewers) to enable real time live pictures to be viewed on the BBC web site. It was also deployed on a Norfolk Broads cruiser and on top of Blackpool tower where 30,000 people logged on to see the view every day.

What camera functions
are possible?
Wireless Eye cameras can be pan tilt, or zoom have day or night vision. Be movement activated or wide angle. The cameras can be moved around to different locations and transmit their images securely to web based locations. |
How can the cameras
be deployed?
Wireless Eye cameras can be fixed to buildings, deployed on fixed
masts, temporary masts, and mobile trailers or on vehicles. We have
designed the systems to be ‘plug and play’. Inexpensive wall mounted
brackets can be fixed at various locations and the cameras moved
around. Wireless Eye systems are as future proofed as we have been able
to make them and can be simply upgraded as new network technologies are
deployed
What does it cost
to send the images via the mobile networks?
We offer a range of network use packages each based on a 36 month contract starting from as low as £15.00 per month per camera. We also offer a lease/purchase package enabling a low monthly payment to cover both the hardware and network time
What does a
Wireless Eye System cost?
The cost will depend on two factors, firstly the specification of the camera and the number of functions required plus any deployment extras (masts fixed or temporary) and secondly by how much mobile network time is required monthly. We sell the camera systems outright including pre paid network time. We can also offer a lease purchase package. For example, a high specification system including network time per month is around £100.00 per month. Costs as low as this can often be funded by sponsorship from local businesses that can have a mention and link to their web site alongside the real time pictures on the town or tourist information web site.
What quality of image
will Wireless Eye Solartel provide?
Wireless Eye Solartel uses the mobile phone network to transmit individual images and the frequency the images are sent can be varied to one every second or one every few minutes. This is adequate for many situations and for tourist locations is ideal as an impression of say a picturesque bustling town centre can be displayed without individuals being easily identified.
Very cost effective when compared with conventional fibre optic cabled CCTV. There are many situations where traditional CCTV is expensive and over specified for deployments like traffic management, monitoring of public areas or observing fixed assets. Wireless Eye mobile network technology is very cost effective in these situations.

What if I need
quality images streamed continuously?
Wireless Eye can supply a system which also does not require mains power or any cables. It transmits the camera images wirelessly between small discreet dishes in line of sight of each other. We can also divert the signal to get around buildings and obstacles in the line of sight. The image data is encrypted for total security and transmits continuous video streaming of the same quality as fibre optic CCTV meeting UK home office guidelines for subject identification.
What if I have an old CCTV system
which I want to expand?
Our wireless system can also be connected to an existing Fibre Optic cabled installation to add further cameras without the need to install further cables. Ideal to avoid the cost and disruption of civil engineering works in busy town centres. New wireless digital state of the art cameras can also be connected to older technology existing analogue based systems and control room monitors.
What if I need to
protect a large area like a farmyard or compound?
The Wireless Eye CSI DNA Sentry PLUS system is ideal for this purpose it has a main unit with camera and DNA spray system and three further wireless sensors which can be deployed to protect fuel storage tanks or possible intruder entry points up to a kilometer from the main unit. Further sensors can be added and each when activated send an alarm text message to a designated mobile phone |

Battery maintenance
and recharging service
Total wind and solar power solutions may not be deployable in conservation areas or unsuitable sites. Subject to use, our battery packs installed in a secure compartment out of site underground will last around 28 days. and we offer a maintenance contract where we monitor and automatically change the batteries when needed.
Is there a Wind and Solar
power option?
For those wanting a green low carbon solution, where planning allows, we offer a specially designed lamp post entirely powered by wind turbine and solar panel. The camera replaces the lamp in the picture. Installation is simple as no cabling is needed. No power or image transmission cables and no batteries to change. The internal battery is continually trickle charged by the wind generator and solar panel. Powered by nature.
