Wireless Eye Solartel is ideal for many applications but the limited bandwidth currently available via the mobile network in some areas limits its ability to provide continuous fibre optic cable wired CCTV quality continuous video streaming for use in criminal prosecutions.

We wanted to combine the Wireless Eye flexibility of being able to site cameras virtually anywhere and even move them about as required with the ability to record fibre optic cable quality CCTV. We have achieved that with Wireless Eye PLUS.
Wireless Eye PLUS does everything that Solartel does but switches from single images to continuous high quality video streaming either when movement activated or remotely by the operator.

The video images which meet UK home office guidelines for subject identification evidence are stored within the unit on a high capacity flash memory. These images can later be downloaded securely and wirelessly onto a laptop from several hundred meters away.
Where mains power is available the Solartel unit can simply be deployed on lampposts by installing a power point at high level. The self contained units are plugged in and, when servicing and lense cleaning is required, our engineers simply unplug the unit and plug in a replacement. The old unit is taken away for refurbishing therby minimising maintenance time and cost.

Wired CCTV performance and evidence collection but at a fraction of the cost of traditional CCTV. Wireless Eye  PLUS will be available in 2010
